✅ Can a SentriLock Subscriber Transfer a Lockbox?
Yes! A SentriLock subscriber can transfer a lockbox to another subscriber using the SentriKey app and in Sentrilock.com.

However, this only works if both the current owner and the new owner share the same Primary Association in SentriLock.

❌ Example of What Will NOT Work:

  • Current owner’s Primary Association = Portland
  • New owner works in a Portland office but their Primary Association = Vancouver (dual licensed)
  • Result: Transfer will fail.

✅ Example of What WILL Work:

  • Current owner’s Primary Association = Portland
  • New owner’s Primary Association = Portland
  • Result: Transfer will succeed.
 

 

SentriKey® Instructions

Current Owner

  1. Touch the menu
  2. My lockboxes
  3. Select Take / Remove ownership
  4. Press the ENT button on the lockbox
  • Enter the pin, fingerprint or face recognition
  1. This assigns the lockbox to No Owner

 

New Owner

  1. Touch the menu
  2. My lockboxes
  3. Select Take / Remove ownership
  4. Press the ENT button on the lockbox
  • Enter pin or touch screen for fingerprint or face recognition
  1. This assigns the lockbox to new owner

 

 

 

 
 

Sentrilock.com Instructions

Sentrilock.com Instructions:

  1. First determine what service center the subscriber is in by going into CRM and looking at the Individual Service Center. You will need this when transferring in Sentrilock
  2. Select the Lockboxes tab on the left
  3. Enter the serial number in the search value window
  4. On the far right of the serial number click on the three ellipses …
  5. Select System Information
  6. Click on Transfer
  7. Change the Assoc Filter to the subscriber Individual Service Center
  8. Enter the new owners name into the Search Value window
  9. Transfer Expiration length: 
    1. Enter 180 if processing a transfer form 
    2. Enter 1 day if this is a walk-in and since they are taking ownership now
  10. Submit
  11. Open the key compartment on the lockbox (anyone can do this) to push through the transfer via Bluetooth connection using the SentriKey app. Do not use a code or it will not transfer
  12. To verify the transfer went through on the 3.6 models click the search button again to refresh the screen. This will now show the owner
